President's Day Weekend 17-20 Feb

I am coming to Indy during Presidents Day Weekend at the end of the month. I hope to have tons of fun, and see most everyone there. I know I wont be able to see Marja, Kyle, Jimmy, Taxi, or Mike. But for everyone else: Jew, Spidy, MJ, Nicole, Deb, Gel, Thomas...I hope to have a blast.

New Years, Sorry ;-(

I want to appologize for the lack of updates. I made a New Years Resolution, not to update the website for the whole year of 2006. That resolution, like any resolution made, is meant to be broke. The problem has been fixed. Just like when you make a resolution to loose weight, that NEVER happens. Or if you plan to drink less, or quit smoking...That never happens either. I say forget New Years Resolutions, they are only lies that you tell yourself to make yourself, and/or others, feel better.

To top it all off if you make a New Years Resolution, you are only kidding yourself. Don't do it, you don't have the power, Scotty.

I just arrived to Ft. Hood, Texas from Germany. I am inproccessing and will be to my actual unit tomorrow. I hope all is well and everything goes off without a hitch.

Weekend Fun

This weekend will be my first weekend in Texas. What will I do? I think I will sit in my room, type on my computer, and sobber myself to sleep dreaming about my fellow comrades in Germany. Or Maybe I will have wet dreams about my Indy Crew who is all over the world. I still have not been able to see my second little sister, Marja. She is back in the States just like me. She is in NC. I would love to spend some time with her. I did just buy a new book this week. It's called 'War Letters' by Andrew Carroll. It's letters from soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines during the Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf war, Somalia, and Bosnia. I don't know why I bought it. I went to the PX to look around and get out of the B's (barracks) and saw it, read the synopsis, and thought it was interresting.

Then again, maybe I will go off post and drink certain liquids that make feel a wonderful eurphoria. It's kind of like bending over, resting your head on a bat, spinning around the bat 20 times, trying to hit the tee ball, and run around the bases. Oh, it's a great feeling. I love it.

Fun, Fun, Fun...in the sun

The weather here isn't so bad. If you are working outside for very long you can get work up a sweat. Somebody told me just wait until you get to summer. I told them, obviously you haven't been in the desert. I don't care how hot it gets, nothing can beat the desert. I think you know which desert I am talking about.

So if you think you know what heat is, then join the military and get deployed. It will open your eyes.

Finally...TSB

It's brand new, it's old, it's finally here. The movie you've all been
waiting for, well atleast I have. Top Secret Briefcase. It doesn't sound
like much, but let me tell you. I worked really hard editing it for the
last week and I am proud with the outcome. you can check it out at
http://movies.icwnow.com under the 'made myself link' its the top movie,
as of 12 jan 06. It was actually filmed in aug 04, but i forgot about it
and lost the footage. this is actually only half of the footage and i was
surprised to see that i could get a decent movie out of it. While you are
it go a head and check out http://www.icwnow.com ENJOY!

Another Monday

No, this is not a Monday. Today is Tuesday, but it feels like a Monday. It's the first day of the year and we had a four day weekend and today is the first day of this week, first work day of the year and first I've done PT in about a month. I was on funeral detail last month, no we weren't used, thank goodness. The fact of the matter is this. During PT, one of my soldiers puked, and I have to leave because of massive diarrea. The bad part is that I went #2 just before I went out to PT. I didn't drink any water over the weekend. I had some coke last night. I didn't do anything to help myself out this morning. I am just glad we didn't go for a run. I probably would have puked then. I feel like crap now. Sitting on the john I didn't know if all it was, was #2 or did I have to suddenly turn over to puke as well.  Oh well, I guess I officially grossed everyone out by this blog. Have a wonderful day. And HAPPY NEW YEARS to ya. Oh one more thing, I still haven't made any new years resolutions because I feel they are made to be broken, just like rules. I did hear that my two buddies are quitting smoking. I was thinking I should do the same. Make it a group effort. I was going to talk to them about it, but never got around to it. I was going to stop once I left Germany. If I couldn't do that, then atleast only smoke when I drink. That is how I started. And from what I hear that is how many people got started. Now, I am trying to quit. I don't see myself as addicted, because if I wanted to quite today, I could, but I don't. I still have 16 more days in Germany and we'll see what happens.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

I had a great birthday. I haven't wrote to anything on here in a while. I
have been worried about updating my website. I wish I was home for the
holidays but that just couldn't happen this year. Hopefully next year
won't be as bad. My grandparents 50th anniversary is the 24th of December
2006. I hope to be able to go to that. Not everyday you find people who
have been married for 50 years. Don't forget to check out my website. I
love making new movies, and have several to put on from this holiday
season. I didn't have a 'white' christmas, but it did snow very hard on
the 26th. The snow, surprisingly, is still here. I love snow and wish I
could find a good place to sled. Oh well, maybe next year.

Christmas Time

This is a time of joyous attitudes, snow (for some) and family time (for
most). I, unfortunately wont be able to come home for the holidays. I can
do nothing to change this as I am about 7 times zones and half a world
away from my loved ones. I do have many people here in the barracks who
will also not be going home for the holidays and will be spending
Christmas together, alone. Alone from our families but together as battle
buddies. This Christmas, think about all the soldiers that are deployed to
several countries around the world and while they chose this life, are
still sad to be away from their families. This will make the second
consecutive Christmas away from my family. I hope there will not be a
third. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, from the wonderful creators
of ICWNOW.COM

Friends

I am glad I have such good friends who are always there for me. Especially in the hard times. I love writing poetry. I like calling it more like rhymes because poetry sounds more sensitive like a woman. I just like writing meaningful things that rhyme. Most of them are serious. Go to www.icwnow.com/poems.html to check out the other poems I have written. I can't wait to go to Georgia in January and then to Texas for my next duty station.

Everything is going as planned as far as my quest to take over the world. All the midgets are where they need to be and everything is set in place for my conquere of the world. I think this will take place on my birthday (29 Dec). Then you will answer to me in whatever you do from using the restroom to washing your dirty, sex-filled, bed sheets. AH! HA! HA! HA!

Updates on the Way

Well the time is here when matt would say he would update the website. I have given him the files and now you and I are just waiting on him. I can't bash him because he is the only person I know that has the "know how AND the elbow grease" to do this. I thank him very much but I wish he would hurry up because time is wasting. I hope you like the new updates, once they arrive.

Midnight Chatting

I want to thank Aaron, Kyle, Carrie, Courtney, and Jimmy for chatting with me in my times of bordem tonight. I will be on the same time tomorrow night and probably the same time for the next several nights. So come to chat at Chat.IndyCrewWorld.com. I will be on there at around 6:00pm Indiana Time till about 2:00am. Hope to see you then.

Technology Rocks

STUPID INTERNET. Why do I get stuck with the crappy material. I am trying my hardest to update this crap but I can't because of crappy internet and computer. Please bare with me guys and girls. Not too much longer.

SORRY, nothing new

Well I thought that when I had access to internet I could upload all these new pages I have been working on. I was wrong. For some reason the internet down here is very limited and I can't upload the pages. It really makes me mad. The website is so far behind now and I have all the updates ready to go but I can't do anything about it. I wonder if the library's internet will be the same story. I will try that tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Fun in the Field

Tuns of fun in the field. I do nothing but eat, sleep, watch movies, play computer, build stupid stuff from trees and cords, chop down trees for the fun of it (until i get blisters), and sit around and talk about nothingness. Ahhh, my life is bliss. The best part is we are on a mountain, in the woods, away from everything. There were a couple guys sneaking around the woods last night with laser sights. My buddy was taking a pee and found three lasers pointing at his chest. He quickly came inside the tent. He thought it was wild bores. Fun times. BIG FUN!

Take That

I have changed my quote at the bottom of my email. So you can stop sending those nasty emails about my old quote. I thought it was a good one or I would have changed it a long time ago. Take that mom and dad.

Chillin' in Germany

Well since Germany doesn't believe in AC. We are burning up in our barracks and everywhere we go. It's hard to get a good decent sleep because you keep waking up in the middle of the night drenched in a puddle of you own sweat. That is not a pleasant feeling. Also having to wash your sheets and pillow case every other day because it smells of B.O. Other than that I am back in Germany and loving it. I have been to the pool several times and let me tell you, the purpose of going just for swimming...HA! It's fun to walk up on a couple laying out in the sun and while you are trying to get over the language bearier between the girl the guy is so naive, and usually a little queer. So you lay your American sweats right out on the table and see if you can't steal away the honey.

I'm Coming Home

Time's counting down. Only 23 hours till I land in Atlanta. "I'm coming home, I want the world to know, I'm gonna let it show"

Monday, June 20, 2005

Counting the Hours

You wouldn't believe it, but I am counting down the hours till I fly out. I only have 75 hours. I had 88 this morning and when I wake up I will have 66 hours. I love counting down time. I can't count down in days because 3 days sounds too long. It will feel so good to see my family and go to my home in Indy. Oh wait I don't have a home in Indy any more. oops.

Annoying Days

Well its getting to that time of being annoying. Everything within a countdown of 7 days is just plain stupid. I wish I could skip the 7 days and just go to day 0. Even 8 days aren't so bad.  Think about it. You have 7 days, and you feel as if each day within those 7 days are a waste of time and going by slower, and slower. They say time goes by faster if you don't keep track of it, but how can I do that when I am about to have the best time of the year starting in 7 days. Well the plane ride back won't be the best time. I could find something better to do than sit in a plane seat for 10 hours straight. The weird thing is I gain like 7 hours. So when I fly out it will be 1000 and I land at 3. How is that possible, you ask? Well when the world turns, OH never mind.

Tuesday, June 14, 2005

Back Home

Well right now I am back at my room after a long and drueling 6 hour convoy, and another 4 hours of waiting to be released for the day, we are done. Tomorrow we dont have to be back in until 9am. No PT, no nothing. Although I wouldn't mind doing PT since we haven't done it in about a month, I am glad we get the extra 3 hours to sleep in. So tonight I will update the challenge page with more random pages, and get caught up to date on other website stuff, and fix some errors. So talk to you soon and look for more updates to come.

Love

Don't you just love stupid people. Usually when you read this the person writing it is about to complain about something that somebody did. I am not about to do that. I am just saying that I love stupid people. They make my life so grand. If it wasnt for stupid people, I wouldn't have to work so hard. Now on the other hand, smart people don't make my life any easier either. So it doesn't matter what your intelligence is...You make other people's live crazy.

Dead

I am dead. I was blown up by a grenade. But the good thing is I am getting a Purple Heart. Once I get done with all this training I will only have one week and then I'm coming back home to Indiana. I can't wait. Only 15 days as of today. go to indycrewworld.com/summer to see the countdown for me and jimmy. It's going to be a blast. And if I am not having fun for 20 hours of each day, than something is really wrong, so you better watch out because I don't plan on sleeping very much. Sleep is over rated, you get plenty of sleep when your dead.I figure four hours is plenty enough time to get a little reset button going. The only problem is since I am coming home during summer most my buddies are working or summer school. No Fear, we will work around that. James is also coming up. So I figure we will party by ourselves and when ever anybody is free, then they will join. How about that? James get ready.

Updating

This is to ensure that everyone knows that I am still updating the webpage. And I have several ideas that will be up and running soon. Some of them are already up and running. The main page is my first priority but NOT the first thing I am doing. It is the most important, therefore taking the most time.

16 hour Day

Well I want to make something clear really fast. This is not to do one up on Jimmy. I did just have a 16 hour day. All we did today was drive. After we drove we road a bus. The only fear we had coming back was having an early day tomorrow. We got back and it was 9am tomorrow, then shortly changed to 9:30am. That makes today not all so bad. I do believe this is a record since being back from down-range.

Another 14 1/2 hour day

<BODY>Ok today was another 14 1/2 hour day and really to be honest nothing was accomplised. For the last 3 hours we were just waiting on the boss. So what do you do while waiting to be released from work? You pull out your bicycle. I unlocked my bike from the bike rack and everyone took turns riding around. It brought back some old memories for some, and others just wanted to have their turn. I LOVE WORKING LATE!!!</BODY>

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a special day. Really they get a day for popping out a kid. What kind of holiday is that. Now true i think that mothers have more of the burden with kids, but then you have Fathers Day which was just created because the men were feeling left out of the grand holiday puzzle thing. That's the whole scoop on Mother/Father's Day thing.

Long Time, No Write

Sorry, It's been a little long since I have published to this page. I have done many things since that time. I just got back from a wonderful trip to Berlin, Germany. I bought a new bike to take on that trip. Me and my buddy along with 20 other Germans rode 20-30 Km (13-20 miles) one-way to a wine fest. It was more of a Flower Fest. But at every festival they always have wine tastings. There was this old guy who was a one-man-band, playing the bass drum, snare, harmonica, sumbols, tamberine, and this other instrument that I can't remember the name. But the funny thing was he used this duck-taped shoes with drum sticks out the toes to play the bass drum and snare. He was talented. My buddy also went bungee jumping off a 180 ft crane, and dipped into the water on the way down. It was expensive and I should have done it, but good thing I didn't because we wouldn't have had enough money for gas on the way back. It cost $ 45 EUR (approx $59 USD). All in all it was a fun trip. Thanks, Craig.

MSIE vs. Netscape

Ok here is the current statistics on people who view my site. The wierd thing is that from all the page loads that me and Matt do with uploading more and more files and updating more and more files there are people out there who are doing more. Matt and I both use Microsoft Internet Explorer, but 46.2% of the viewers use Netscape. There are also viewers that use Mozilla, Opera, Safari, and Firefox, and those percentages.

Netscape 46.2 %
MSIE 44.1 %
Mozilla 8.9 %
Opera .01 %
Safari .01 %
Firefox <.01 %

That was really interesting, right?

More NEW Stuff

Ok this is another blog telling about all the wonderful new things that are on the site. Last time I forgot to mention all of Jew's wonderful pages. Right now the website is undergoing some major changes to its main page. By the end of the week this problem will be fixed. Well it's not really a problem, more like an update. Feel free to leave a comment on here.

Happy April 1st (Fools)

Well now you should really check out my site. In honor of April Fools I changed up my site just a little. It will probably be gone by Monday, April 4th. Any who, who actually thought of this Holiday. Is this even a Holiday. I know I am not getting off work for it. I am not happy about this. They said we had to come in on the weekend to work but we quickly called their bluff on account of April Fools. Can't get nothing past me.

Thats all thats important about that. Let me think if there was anything else I wanted to say...i mean type.....::thinking::.....:still thinking::......"OUCH"......::thought too hard:: Ok nothing else. Oh yeah I forgot...Happy Hump Day!!

Collision Course vs. Crash Course

The question for this discussion would be why is collison course and crash course mean different things. Well this is a weird one. For this I must go deep inside my head of knowledge. Crash course meaning a first time at doing something. If someone gives you a crash course at lets say eating a bowl of icecream they might stick your head in the bowl and force it there until you eat the whole bowl. But ofcourse this would be very cold to your face and you would probably get a very severe cold freeze. Collision course, meaning two or more object on a trajectory of the same line at each other. Now what if someone gave you a crash course on a collision course. For example riding a bike into a wall. I think you would have a problem because for one you wouldnt be able to ride and then you would have many problems with the whole hall thing being in the way. Now kids that the lesson on Crash Course vs. Collision Course. Atleast both of them start with 'C'.

The start of a new era

This is the start of my "blogging" there can be comments posted to these and I will try to add new ones when ever my mind starts to wonder
