President's Day Weekend 17-20 Feb

I am coming to Indy during Presidents Day Weekend at the end of the month. I hope to have tons of fun, and see most everyone there. I know I wont be able to see Marja, Kyle, Jimmy, Taxi, or Mike. But for everyone else: Jew, Spidy, MJ, Nicole, Deb, Gel, Thomas...I hope to have a blast.

New Years, Sorry ;-(

I want to appologize for the lack of updates. I made a New Years Resolution, not to update the website for the whole year of 2006. That resolution, like any resolution made, is meant to be broke. The problem has been fixed. Just like when you make a resolution to loose weight, that NEVER happens. Or if you plan to drink less, or quit smoking...That never happens either. I say forget New Years Resolutions, they are only lies that you tell yourself to make yourself, and/or others, feel better.

To top it all off if you make a New Years Resolution, you are only kidding yourself. Don't do it, you don't have the power, Scotty.

I just arrived to Ft. Hood, Texas from Germany. I am inproccessing and will be to my actual unit tomorrow. I hope all is well and everything goes off without a hitch.

Weekend Fun

This weekend will be my first weekend in Texas. What will I do? I think I will sit in my room, type on my computer, and sobber myself to sleep dreaming about my fellow comrades in Germany. Or Maybe I will have wet dreams about my Indy Crew who is all over the world. I still have not been able to see my second little sister, Marja. She is back in the States just like me. She is in NC. I would love to spend some time with her. I did just buy a new book this week. It's called 'War Letters' by Andrew Carroll. It's letters from soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines during the Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf war, Somalia, and Bosnia. I don't know why I bought it. I went to the PX to look around and get out of the B's (barracks) and saw it, read the synopsis, and thought it was interresting.

Then again, maybe I will go off post and drink certain liquids that make feel a wonderful eurphoria. It's kind of like bending over, resting your head on a bat, spinning around the bat 20 times, trying to hit the tee ball, and run around the bases. Oh, it's a great feeling. I love it.

Fun, Fun, Fun...in the sun

The weather here isn't so bad. If you are working outside for very long you can get work up a sweat. Somebody told me just wait until you get to summer. I told them, obviously you haven't been in the desert. I don't care how hot it gets, nothing can beat the desert. I think you know which desert I am talking about.

So if you think you know what heat is, then join the military and get deployed. It will open your eyes.
